Five honest minutes. One useful answer. Zero obligation.
The same MCP endpoint works in supported AI hosts. ChatGPT calls this surface a custom App; Wild Calf is a public prototype, so it does not need OAuth.

Voice truth: The unpublished custom app is web-only. Microphone dictation in a normal web chat may turn speech into a prompt, but do not promise an iPhone/Android or native Voice/Live custom-app conversation.

I’m testing a new Wild Calf Coffee guide inside AI chat. It can help you choose a coffee, diagnose the cup before recommending gear, explain how to brew it, answer unusually specific questions about a coffee or its current lot, learn from your tasting feedback, and build a real one-time Shopify checkout. It’ll do everything but make the coffee for you… yet.
Start here: https://mcp.wildcalf.com/
Please try to surprise it. Ask something you would never type into a normal coffee-store search box.
This isn’t a survey, and you aren’t being asked to do Wild Calf a favor. You should get something useful first.
Bring the guide a real coffee problem: a disappointing finish, an inconsistent brewer, a coffee you cannot describe, a grinder you might - or might not - need, or a question no product page could answer.
In one conversation, it can help you:
The interesting part is what happens when it doesn’t know. Instead of inventing a confident coffee answer, it says so and puts your exact question into Dustin’s research or cupping queue.
Your question or tasting may help Wild Calf improve a coffee, correct a description, investigate an ashy finish, or explain a changing lot more accurately. Nothing you say automatically becomes marketing copy; customer insights are reviewed and curated first.
Give it one real problem and five honest minutes. Try to surprise it. If it hasn’t earned another five minutes by helping, teaching, saving you from an unnecessary purchase, or making you curious, you’ve done enough.

An eligible workspace admin/owner or authorized user must approve Create. The Wild Calf website cannot silently install an unpublished custom app.
Customer questions create a ranked research/cupping queue. Structured tastings create an owner-only digest by coffee and lot: sample size, repeat descriptors, rating and sensory averages, explicit ash prevalence/intensity, drink-again and buy-again rates, brew-method and roast/bag-code mix, and consent count. Raw comments never become public copy automatically.
Only Dustin can publish a customer insight. Publication requires at least three distinct consented tastings from at least three private contributor tokens, an owner-written anonymized summary, and the correct coffee/lot scope. The high-entropy token starts without identity and should be reused if the same person tastes again. A person may separately link a preferred name/email for relationship value; follow-up and marketing remain separate opt-ins. When the coffee changes, the insight can be retired instead of silently following the product name forever.
This is more than a product quiz. The guide combines the live Wild Calf catalog, real price math, original training, bag context, and a learning loop for questions the roastery cannot answer yet.
Wild Calf should know when to hand you a better teacher. These are independent resources we recommend, not content we copy or authorities you must agree with.

An AI tool should say exactly where its authority stops. That keeps the useful parts trustworthy.
